For example, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/creditcards.chase.com\/rewards-credit-cards\/sapphire\/preferred\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chase Sapphire Preferred<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> card provides reimbursement for damage due to collision or theft as long as the rental period is 31 days or less. It doesn\u2019t cover any bodily injury or property damage, so you may be able to decline the rental car company\u2019s collision insurance. However, you\u2019ll still need liability coverage.
